Barton Perreira unveils the masterfully crafted Spring/Summer 2023 line of sun and optical frames inspired by retro elegance, individuality, and modern California architecture. While including the luxurious details and sophisticated silhouettes that the brand is so well known for, this collection pays homage to icons of the past. From alluring, feminine sunnies to classic, masculine opticals, there is bound to be a flattering style for everyone.
Various styles for various trends
Perhaps the boldest sunglass of the line is the Devine, an oversized frame with precision-tinted gradient lenses, named after a notorious female crime boss that doubled as a philanthropic hero. The 007 Royale aviator-style sunglass is inspired by the James Bond film, Casino Royale, and features a surprise spade logo when it’s hit by a warm breath.

The flirtatious Coquette sunglass is composed of beveled Japanese acetate finished with 24K Gold plated accents, and comes in playful shades such as Sheer Lilac. The Demarco, which comes in both optical and sun, has a timeless rounded shape defined by a keyhole nose bridge. Exuding the feminine elegance from its Greek Goddess namesake is the Rhea optical frame, which comes in a pale blue hue that complements its subtle cat eye shape.

The titanium Elvgren optical, named after one of the most famous pin-up artists in history, features a minimal, yet impactful design that will remain timeless. Lastly, the iconic cat-eye Lucretia Optical honors a devoted Women’s Rights and Social Change advocate and grabs attention with its stunning jewel-toned shades.

She and co-founder, Bill Barton, have managed to create one of the finest eyewear collections in the world by committing to craftsmanship and devoting passion to detail. Barton Perreira focuses on sustainability by using plant-based acetates in frames and recycled materials in cleaning cloths, making them REACH-compliant and GRS certified. All products are produced in Japan by expert artisans.
