Base down triangular shaped face selection
A base-down triangular face shape has a narrow forehead and widens at the cheek and chin areas. Jawline measures greater than cheekbones, which measure larger than forehead.
To add width and emphasize the narrow upper third of the base down triangular face shape, try frames that are heavily accented with color and detailing on the top half (brow) of the frame or with bold colors. Frames with cat-eye, rectangle or even oval shapes also can be good choices. You should look for frames with a darker upper rim as wide as the lowest, widest portion of your face.
